Hello! My name is Mr. Vince Davis, Jr. and I am the Technology Coordinator for Mary E. McDowell School. I have served in many capacities at McDowell School. I began my career as a Special Education Classroom Assistant under the Direction of Dr. Walker. In 2017, Dr. Hood along with the leadership team granted me the rights and privileges as the new Technology Coordinator of McDowell School. For many years staff members would often call me the school's “Music Director”.

A musical prodigy, I began playing drums, piano, and organ in church at an early age and was committed to one day becoming a professional musician. During my musical career, I have accompanied national recording artists such as Hezekiah Walker, Richard Smallwood, Jonathan McReynolds, Pastor Chris Harris, Dr. Walt Whitman and the Soul Children,  and R. Kelly.

Today I hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Services concentration in Children and Family Services from the University of Phoenix and Master’s degree in Education from Concordia University. Currently I am pursuing my doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University. I am also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

What I like to do for fun is watch sports, play golf, hang out with my family and friends, watering my grass, learning about black history and playing my piano.

MR. DAVIS
