Mrs. Grossett

Hi my name is Sekinah Allen- Grossett and I am the Teacher for the Diverse Learners in grades K, 1st and 5th. I am from the Southside of Chicago but grew up in Country Club Hills, IL. I have been teaching for 15 years. I graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a Bachelor’s in Special Education. I am graduated from the  University of Illinois at Chicago with a Master’s degree in Special Education. The best part about teaching is building bonds with my students. It brings me joy to be apart and witness students accomplishing things, that they never thought they would be able to.

 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I am a pet Mom of one dog, Nova. I love to shop, drink coffee, and I am addicted to Pinterest.
