I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new 4th grade teacher here at McDowell Elementary School. My name is Ms. Walton, and I have been a classroom teacher for 15 years. I have a Master of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and am currently completing a Master of Arts Degree in K12 Leadership. I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and recently relocated to the Chicago area. I enjoy reading, outdoor activities, movies, and TEACHING! I am so excited to be a part of the McDowell family, and look forward to getting to know what makes each student smile!!
